From Threat to Loss: Underwriting Emerging Cyber Risks
As cyber threats continue to evolve in scale, frequency and sophistication, the cyber insurance market faces a persistent challenge: how to anticipate, assess and underwrite emerging risks before they crystallise into loss - while ensuring coverage remains sustainable for the long term.
The LMF Cyber Insurance Practice Group is pleased to host an exclusive roundtable breakfast for leading cyber insurance underwriters and brokers, providing a trusted forum for candid discussion, shared insight and meaningful collaboration across the market. At this session, in collaboration with our Corporate Partner, NCC Group, we’ll be looking at emerging risks and the insurance Market’s response to them. We’ll gain first hand insights from our friends at NCC Group and openly debate the impact of such risks on the insurance market, coverage and pricing.
Taking place in the Private Dining Room at The Campanelle Restaurant, in Billiter Street, this invitation-only session is designed to encourage open conversation in a confidential setting - allowing attendees to exchange views on how emerging cyber threats are reshaping underwriting portfolios, pricing, aggregation concerns and risk selection.
The discussion will be supported by expert commentary from NCC Group’s Matt Hull, Vice President of Cyber Intelligence & Response. Drawing on his expertise, Matt will share the latest threat intelligence and provide insight into how emerging threats are shaping today's cyber risk landscape. In usual LMF roundtable style, those underwriters and brokers attending will be invited to join in the discussion and hopefully leave with valuable insights that might inform their future risk assessment and client advisory activities.
The roundtable will be facilitated by LMF Founder, Roger Oldham, alongside contributions from NCC Group's Chantal Constable and Paul Darwin, bringing together underwriting, broking and cyber risk perspectives to support a balanced, market-focused discussion.
This breakfast roundtable will assist attendees by:
- Providing new statistical cyber threat intelligence trends alongside real-world examples
- Sharing detailed insights into evolving attacker behaviours and tactics
- Examining how emerging cyber threats translate into underwriting and portfolio exposure
- Exploring the implications for pricing, wordings, aggregation and claims severity
- Discussing how the market can continue to provide meaningful coverage while managing sustainability
- Strengthening relationships and collaboration across the cyber insurance ecosystem
Attendance is aimed at senior cyber insurance underwriters and brokers actively involved in shaping cyber strategy, pricing and risk management. Places are limited so register today.
