LMF Presents £5,000 Donation to Crisis Following 2026 Market People Awards

The LMF team recently visited Crisis Skylight London to present a cheque for £5,000, raised through the generosity of the London Insurance Market during the 2026 Market People Awards.

The donation was made possible thanks to the fantastic support shown by attendees through voluntary donations and raffle ticket sales on the evening, reflecting the Market’s continued commitment to supporting meaningful charitable causes.

During the visit, LMF Founder Roger Oldham met with Dulal Ahmed, Director of Crisis Skylight London, to learn more about the organisation’s vital work supporting people experiencing homelessness. The discussion explored the range of services provided by Crisis, the growing challenges surrounding homelessness across the UK, and the charity’s ambitious plans to expand its impact through new housing initiatives and community-based support programmes.

The visit also gave the LMF team the opportunity to tour the Skylight centre and gain a first-hand understanding of the life-changing support available to Crisis members, from employment and wellbeing services to education, housing advice and practical assistance.

Roger Oldham, Founder of LMF, said:

“It was a privilege to visit Crisis Skylight London and see first-hand the incredible work being carried out by the team. We are immensely proud that the London Insurance Market came together once again to support such an important cause. On behalf of everyone at LMF, I would like to thank everyone who donated and purchased raffle tickets at this year’s Market People Awards. Your generosity will help Crisis continue making a real difference to the lives of people experiencing homelessness.”

The conversation with Keir contains some excellent insights for young people looking for their first opportunity. The London Insurance Market is open to young people (and those of any age) from all backgrounds, with a huge variety of skills, interests and ambitions. You do not need to have followed one particular academic or career path.

Dulal Ahmed, Director of Crisis Skylight London, thanked the London Insurance Market for its support and highlighted the importance of partnerships that help raise both vital funds and awareness of homelessness across the UK.

LMF is proud to have partnered with Crisis as the charity partner for the 2026 Market People Awards and would like to extend its sincere thanks to every individual and organisation whose generosity made this donation possible.

Together, the London Insurance Market continues to demonstrate that its impact extends far beyond business, helping to support communities and charities that are making a lasting difference.
